The Causes Of Increase In Housing Price House is one of the significant components in fundamental human needs. Notwithstanding, one will think about the cost of a house before buying. It is essential to assemble data before buying a house since it is a drawn out speculation. A house must be agreeable to remain in. In any case, we can't deny the way that the lodging value today isn't equivalent to cost over the most recent couple of decades. 1.2 Problem Statement In the course of recent decades, the lodging cost has indicated augments as times passes by. It is no uncertainty that the more drawn out the timeframe the higher the cost of lodging. This is a major issue to be thought about. It is viewed as a significant issue since house is one of the significant fundamental human needs. Accordingly, being worried about the lodging cost is an unquestionable requirement and the components that add to the expansion of lodging value should be resolved. 1.3 Research Objectives Coming up next are the goals of this exploration : 1. To decide the reasons for increment in lodging cost. 2. To assess the cost of lodging later on. 3. To distinguish the impact of increment in lodging cost. 1.4 Scope Limitations of the Study So as to accumulate the data for this examination, I have assembled some solid data through the web. As indicated by Uma Sekaran (2006), writing survey can be characterized as an expansive documentation audit by which distributed and unpublished work from optional information in the territories of a specific enthusiasm to the specialist. It examines the significance of the subject, the kind of hypothesis or strategy utilized in the examination and just as to give the foundation and history of a specific zone. Besides, there are 3 stages in the writing audit process. Right off the bat is to recognize the different material and access, also to accumulate the pertinent data, and thirdly to review the writing survey. A decent research should comprise of eight significant components including purposiveness, legitimacy, replicability, generalisability, objectivity, unwavering quality, testability, and ready to make another thing or also called thoroughness. We can assemble writing a udit sources through books, reports, monograph, postulation, gathering continuing, working papers, and the most ordinarily utilized by many is the diary look into articles. 2.2 Literature Review The Determination of Housing Price House is one of the significant components in fundamental human needs. Individuals need a house to avoid threat, blistering climate, blustery day and just as a spot to remain quiet. For whatever length of time that individuals can fill the solace of living under a rooftop then it is known as a house. Notwithstanding, the things that issue is that the moderateness of an individual to buy a house. A few people can manage the cost of a house that is extremely agreeable to remain in and some not. Individuals who are known as the rich and celebrated can manage the cost of a house that is nearly called a paradise and some can just lives in a conventional yet agreeable house. Yet, it doesn㠢㠢ââ¬Å¡Ã¢ ¬Ã£ ¢Ã¢â¬Å¾Ã¢ ¢t matter how our home may look like in light of the fact that the cost of house is the thing that that issue. We can see that the lodging cost is expanding as the time passes by. This might be a significant zone to view since pretty much it could influence the monetary deg ree of a nation. In this manner, a lodging cost can be characterized as the pace of installment that one needs to pay so as to buy a house and without a doubt there are a few factors that lead to lodging value assurance. In my own perspective, I accept that the augmentation of a lodging cost is because of the value increase in the crude material. Many may have comparative thought yet in the wake of investigating 10 diaries as references for my propose theme, I have discovered a few increasingly significant factors that prompts the variables of lodging cost assurance. There are barely any number of learned individual turned up and ready to locate the contributing components in assurance of lodging cost. One who has contemplated utilizing an exact investigation has indicated that salary (demography patterns) and ostensible financing costs are the key informative factors in lodging cost. Then again, the value returns may likewise have been a compelling element in the assurance o lodging value (Pages Maza, 2003). In different examinations demonstrated that, the experimental methodology, board unit root test, board co-coordination, and mistake remedy model were applied in the exploration. The outcome is c omparative where the degree of pay and loan fee were the primary variables. In any case, it was tried in an alternate strategy whereby the present degree of pay and loan costs decide how much an individual can get from budgetary foundations so as to buy a house. This choice of how much the borrower can obtain from the bank or budgetary organizations is one of an approach to decide the degree of house value (McQuinn Oà ¢Ã ¢Ã¢â¬Å¡Ã ¬Ã ¢Ã¢â¬Å¾Ã ¢Rielly, 2007). For instance, the higher the loan cost, the higher the cost of lodging. Be that as it may, another distinctive perspective can be found in the investigation of Yazgi Dokmeci (2007), in which, applied the various relapse model and it was discovered that the most significant factor influencing the lodging costs is the size of the floor region. The second and third best factors are the street surface proportion and the floor territory, and fourth factor is the separation of lodging to the beach. This implies, the greater the size of floor the more cash a buyer should pay. This examination is clearly not the same as the past investigation. It viewed the topographical region. The investigations of Hiebert Roma (2010) by utilizing the experimental and relapse examination have demonstrated that despite the fact that a specific area is related with offices, populace contrasts across urban areas affected more. In this way, regardless of whether a specific area is completely encouraged, individuals will at present lean toward living among a populace. Different investigations that utilized the new quarterly local board informational collection demonstrated that out of 14 areas, there were 11 districts that have the significant effects in term of lodging administrations and courtesy esteems. The cost desires that is unsurprising add to the expanded of lodging cost. In this manner, it was discovered that the cost of lodging is affected by the provincial financial action, the local lodging stock and the client cos t of capital (Grimes et al, 2004). In another distinctive examination, connection and different relapse investigation was applied by a Malaysian in particular Tan. The examination demonstrated that the Malaysians㠢㠢ââ¬Å¡Ã¢ ¬Ã£ ¢Ã¢â¬Å¾Ã¢ ¢ per capita salary, joblessness rate, complete advances to lodging and KLSE Composite Index assumes significant job in the development of Malaysian house cost. This implies, the monetary and money related variables were recognized as appropriate in deciding the interest and gracefully of lodging units. In an investigation of Allen et al (2006), by utilizing the experimental examination, new house value, association compensation, issuance of building license contributes in the lodging value rate. As per Yan et al (2010), an observational examination and the mistake adjustment model blunder amendment indicated that land flexibly majorly affects house value vacillations while request factors, for example, client costs, salary and private home loan credit have more noteworthy impa cts. Over the long haul, the cost is affected by the land flexibly and the money related framework. In any case, in the short run, the adjustments in land flexibly and money related framework will at that point impact on the client costs, pay, and private home loan advance. To include more, the interest factors which comprise of the client cost, salary, and private home loan advance is found to give more prominent effect in the value variances of lodging cost. Again in different investigations of McMillen (2003) utilizing the Fourier recurrent deals approach, it was discovered that pay and populace can affected the costs of house. Notwithstanding, he at that point discovered that individuals with higher pay moved into the more seasoned piece of the region in Chicago city because of the expanding lodging cost. In another investigation of Hilbers et al (2008), the observational examination indicated that client costs, segment (age, sexual orientation, salary) factors and yield gives s way in the assurance of lodging cost. It was discovered that the most powerful factors were the pay and the client costs. After experienced the diaries on lodging, it serves to indentify and thought about the contributing variables in the assurance of lodging cost. I have discovered a few factors that contribute in the assurance of lodging cost. Those components I have found incorporates the intrigue rodent

The Role of Government in Economy Free Essays
Nowadays, there are debates on how far government should interfere with the economy. Government has played an impact on the economy with the purpose to maximize the well-being of society. What governments generally do is to assure the economy grows at a steady pace, increase level of employment and stabilize the price level. We will write a custom essay sample on The Role of Government in Economy or any similar topic only for you Order Now However, whether government should take active policies to interfere with economy or just let it grow naturally has raised widely discussion. This essay discusses the role of government by analyzing both thought of Keynes and Friedman and then prove the effectiveness of Friedmanââ¬â¢s theory with historical examples. Firstly, the Great Depression of the 1930s has helped prove the importance of governmentââ¬â¢s intervention on the economy in the past. The Great Depression started with a decrease in stock prices in America and then quickly spread to most parts of the world (McElvaine, 1993, p 59). There was a tremendous decrease on the demand and global trade, followed by high unemployment rate. As a result, various measures were taken by governments worldwide in an attempt to accelerate the economyââ¬â¢s recovery and reduce the unemployment rate including stimulation on demand by spending much more than they took in (Fox, 2008, p 1). At the final several years of the Great Depression, Keynesian macroeconomic theory, which shows the importance of governmentââ¬â¢s role on the economy, has played an impact on interventionistsââ¬â¢ policies. In Keynesian economics, when inefficient economic outcomes aroused from decisions of private sector, public sector needs to take active measures. By fiscal policy adjusting taxes and government spending and monetary policy which deals with the amount of money supplied and credit, government could help stabilize the economic growth rate, and then plays an impact on price level and employment rate in the process (Congdon, 2007, p 169). In the case of the Great Depression, Keynes said the low unemployment rate were the result of insufficient demand, thus intervention of government was important to run deficits, increase spending and/or cutting taxes, and so as to keep people fully employed (Aikins, 2009, p 403). However, the stagflation of 1970s has challenged Keynesian theory bringing debates on the intervention of government on the economy (Gittins, 2010, p 6). According to Bresiger (2009) it was the 1970s, economic growth was weak, resulting in rising unemployment that eventually reached double-digits. The easy-money policies, which financed huge budget deficits and were supported by political leaders, were then undertaken by the American central bank, in order to generate full employment. However, it also caused high inflation which began in late 1972 and didnââ¬â¢t end until the early 1980s. The great inflation, and the recession that followed, wrecked many businesses and hurt countless individuals. As Bresiger (2009) concluded in his article that before inflation returned to low single digits, another brutal policy of tight money, including the acceptance of a recession would be expected, and meanwhile the unemployment rate would exceed 10%. Given the increasing skepticism towards usefulness of fiscal policy and its multiplier effects proposed by Keynesian theory, another macroeconomic policy named monetarism chiefly proposed by Milton Friedman has attracted growing supports (Issing, 2010, p 35). It was supported by Bernhut (2003) concerning monetary policy, emphasizing on the amounts of money that government should determine to supply in circulation. The theory of monetarism puts a stress on the benefits aroused from free market economics and weaknesses associated with government intervention on the economy (Congdon, 2007, p 200). The appropriate economic role for government is to manage the amount of money in circulation, so as to influence aggregate output in the short run and finally control the level of prices and inflation rate over longer periods. Particularly during the 1980s, some of the laissez-faire thoughts proposed by Friedman including monetary policy, privatization, deregulation and taxation, were used by governments (Congdon, 2007, p 202). After analyzing the thought of both Keynes and Friedman respectively, it may be better to give a comparison on the two theories in order to see what role government should take in the economy. As Issing (2010 p 1) says in his article, after the Great Depression, there was dominant belief on the Keynesian theory. However, the lessons obtained from the stagflation of 1970s, associated with Keynesian policies, are that unrestrained and neffectively planned intervention by government could give rise to market failure and adverse economic outcome (Aikins, 2009, p 405). The weakness of Keynesian theory was supported by Callaghan who stated that cutting taxes and boosting government spending during recession would inject higher inflation rate followed by higher rate of unemployment (Issing , 2010, p 2). On the contrary, rather than regarding insufficient demand as the key factor driven the Great Depression, Friedman argued it was largely caused by the Federal Reserve reducing the money supply. In the article, Issing (2010) plays an importance on the money by illustrating that ignoring monetary factors has led to the worst crisis since the Great Depression related to the asset price bubbles. Another example which helps prove the effectiveness of monetarism was given by Congdon (2007). When Margaret Thatcher won the 1979 general election in United Kingdom, Britain had several inflation for several year, with inflation rate rarely below 10%. Even worse, the rate had reached 27% by the time of the election. Thatcher implemented monetarism to control inflation, and successfully reduced the rate to 4% at 1983. There was a global recession at that time, and Thatcherââ¬â¢s monetarist policies contributed to the success of fighting against the recession, meanwhile helped Britain become one of the nations which recover economic growth firstly. To sum up, this essay has examined two theories concerning about the role that government should take in economy. In Keynesian economy, fiscal policy is particularly an important tool that government should use when aggregate demand is not insufficient and keep full employment by running government deficit. Historical evidence has showed that it was not an efficient way to fight recession. Conversely the monetarism offers Keynesians a better view of monetary policy. It can be shown that the core ideology of monetarism can still work well today and monetary factors can not be neglected, thus government has a role to determine amount of money supplied as well as the volume of credit in all aspects, but not interfere with the economy unrestrainedly and ineffectively. Cleft Lip And Palate Essay Example For Students
Cleft Lip And Palate Essay Cleft Lip and Palate are facial birth defects. A cleft lip affects the upperlip, ranging from a notch to a complete fissure extending into the nose. A cleftpalate affects the roof of the mouth, with a groove that may extend through thedental arch. These abnormalities may occur separately or together. Cleft lip andpalate are facial malformations that may occur separately or together. They mayalso occur in association with other syndromes or birth defects. The separationof the lip can vary from a small notch to a complete separation extending intothe nose. The cause of these malformations may be mutant genes or teratogens. Teratogens are agent that cause abnormalities in a developing fetus such ascertain viruses or chemicals. As well as being disfiguring, these abnormalitiescan cause feeding difficulties and problems with speech development. Riskfactors are a family history of cleft lip or palate and presence of anotherbirth defect. The incidence of cleft lip and palate varies with different races;approximately 1 out of 1,000 Caucasians are affected. The incidence of cleftpalate alone is 1 out of 2,500 people, not that rare of an occurrence. There isno proven way to prevent this defect. Physical examination of the mouth, noseand palate confirms the presence of cleft lip or cleft palate. Diagnostictesting may be performed to determine or rule out the presence of otherabnormalities. Symptoms of this defect include: separation of the lip, separation of the palate, separation of both, and/or varying amounts of nasaldistortion. Treatment of cleft lip and palate involves several specialtiesincluding plastic s urgeons, orthodontics, speech therapists and others. Treatment may extend over a period of several years. Surgery to close the cleftlip usually performed at 1 or 2 months of age. Later surgery may be needed ifthere is extensive nasal involvement. Since cleft palate is usually diagnosed atbirth, it can usually be closed within the first year of life to enhance normalspeech development. Until surgery, a prosthetic device is often fitted over thepalate for feeding. Although treatment may extend over several years and requireseveral surgeries depending upon the involvement, most children affected by thisdisorder can achieve normal appearance, speech, and eating and will gain socialconfidence not worrying about kids teasing them. For some, speech problems maycontinue. Some complications that may occur are recurrent ear infections, hearing loss, dental cavities, and displaced teeth speech defects. Although itis considered an abnormality, it shouldnt be thought of as adisability. But the effects and problems that may occur because of this defe ctshould not be ignored or neglected, such as speech impairment. Parents of thechild need not feel responsible for their childs disorder, there is no knownpreventive measure. Some parents decide that their childs disorder does notneed to be repaired, but it would only benefit the child when they grow older, both in a physical aspect and in the emotional aspect because the world is crueland not very accepting of those that are different from themajority. Alcohol Essays (653 words) - Drinking Culture, Alcohol Abuse
Alcohol Essays (653 words) - Drinking Culture, Alcohol Abuse Alcohol Alcohol Alcohol is a drug, but unlike most of the other drugs, it is socially accepted and is legal. Alcohol is bad for you and does have long term affects associated with it. Such as the long addiction to it, effects on the body, and the social interaction effects. Alcohol, and alcoholism is common in America, but drinking is more common around kids. Social drinking, a term kids and drinkers have come accustom to, is defined by one standard drink per hour, and no more than 3 per day, but some people just socialize around people that drink as heavily as they do and confuse that for social drinking. Addiction to alcohol can be acquired easily if not careful, binge drinking and family history are all keys in the identification of addiction. Family history could be linked to alcoholism by finding out if your family had problems in the past with alcohol, and it is determined by studies that genes have effects on alcohol. Alcohol is a drug, but legal unlike the other drugs on the street. In my opinion, all drugs are all harmful to the body, and can cause serious problems to you, and people around you, in the long run. Alcohol can effect the body in multiple ways. The tranquilizing effects of being drunk acts like a stimulate, but is a depressant, and causes the brain to lower self control, impairs vision and other senses, and effects bodily coordination. This tranquilizing effect is caused by the consumption of alcohol which in turn may cause serious effects on the liver, heart, and the brain. The alcohol consumption effects these organs, and has an overall personality change when signs of alcoholism begin. Alcohol overall has a detrimental effect over the body and the mind. I do believe alcohol is a drug and like other drugs which are not legalized in the U.S. it is still really bad for you. Also from alcohol a big risk is in evolved with drunk driving and getting alcohol poisoning. Both of these possible consequences are a big factor when someone drinks irresponsibly. Drunk driving accidents, and death, happen too much to not notice, but to know that drinking is a big cause of deaths in the year. Alcohol poisoning has a great chance of killing you because the effects are the usual drunken depressant effects but it slowly gets worse as you slip into coma, and if not taken care of, death will emerge. Social drinking and the effects one can have on someones personality is usually a drastic change. From this I mean I can speak from experience, one of my friends is an alcoholic from my perspective. Every chance he gets he drinks. When he drinks, his personality, and sometimes he, does somersaults, and changes into a mean self centered alcoholic. But anytime hes not drunk, he seems normal. Close interaction would prove that he has a personality problem, and a severe attitude. What I am trying to say is that my friend is my friend, no matter what problems he has, and hes going through counseling, and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) classes, yet still he struggles to stay sober, even though hes giving it all he has. Alcohol is in no means a good drug. From what I know, and have experienced, alcohol is just an open window for a long list of problems and difficulties, and seems to make growing up harder. It leaves the body susceptible to doing bodily harm, to self, or to others, by not being sure what it is that you are currently doing, and why someone would want to risk there chances of death, and life long hardship is beyond me. Alcohol is a drug which is now is legal in the U.S., and if that changes, it will, in my opinion, advance our society mentally, and make us stronger, in the body and in the mind

From civil rights to black power Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2500 words - 1
From civil rights to black power - Essay Example Blacks, many working- and middle-class Whites themselves became angry and suspicious, charging that Blacks had already made too many gains at Whites expense. President Nixon who referred this as ââ¬Å"the Silent Majority" of Americans who supported "law and order" and other white Americans worried about their economic prospects and their own future, law and order meant using the power of the government to keep Blacks in their place; they had already achieved too much, and now must accept their second-class status in American society.(1) From the 1970s on, conservatives, Republicans, and White Southern politicians have used code words about welfare, law and order, affirmative action, drugs and crime, teenage pregnancy, and the breakdown of the family to attract concerned Whites, who feel that Blacks are responsible for their own problems, not the government, not the of Blacks to law and order and the rights of Whites has helped shaped a White backlash against civil rights and further gains for Blacks civil rights since the 1970s. Unfortunately, this White back clash has only made young Blacks more angry, cynical, and suspicious about the government and White Society. Regarding the emergence of civil rights and black power movement we can explore a detailed study related to these occurrences. On July 26, 1948, President Harry Truman issued two executive orders, one instituted fair employment practices in the civilian agencies of the federal government; the other provided for "equality of treatment and opportunity in the armed forces without regard to race, color, religion, or national origin." This was a major victory for civil rights advocates in the quest for full citizenship.(2)Courtesy of the Chicago Daily Defender, Chicago, Illinois.)This was one beginning moment among others from which the racial sufferers gained inner strength to fight for the complete freedom. The African-American Civil Rights Movement (1955-1968) refers to the reform movements in the United

Explain why regarding the complex project as a 'system' or 'group of Literature review
Explain why regarding the complex project as a 'system' or 'group of integrated systems' will help us to ensure delivery - Literature review Example Statement of Problem For any Corporation, as well as government or other service institutions the challenge is to deliver specialized services to a particular clientele yet in doing so in an efficient manner. It might be possible for a company to offer extremely favorable terms and financially unsustainable discounts on goods and services in order to attract customers in the short term, but there is a limit to the amount that can be given away as a gesture of goodwill. A company must also demonstrate inefficiency in its operations and organization in order to remain profitable and viable. On the other hand, an operation thinking only of the efficiency and interest of itself and its highest ranking members will be unable to draw new clients/customers competitively. With concern only for the interest of the operation internally, it becomes a virtual impossibility to be attractive to outside customers. Therefore, such an operation will be unable to grow ââ¬â and will suffer the loss of new business to competitors. There are numerous variations on this theme, but ultimately the construction organization ââ¬â for any other company providing services to clientele must strike a balance between these extremes. An operation must be efficient enough that the company is able to pay employees while still retaining profit for itself, yet at the same time it must have sought after products or services that it can offer under attractive terms for customers. Achieving this balance is the fundamental factor determining the rise and fall of businesses. Even organizations with only a small number of clients, perhaps a single investor or another company contracting a second company to perform some specific task is not immune to these challenges. Whoever the customers or clients are, they must be sufficiently satisfied to permit repeat business, and yet the organization itself must remain internally viable so that it is able to continue doing business. Neither of these fact ors can be ignored. Achieving this balance requires the deliberate establishment of management structures to ensure the efficient delivery of client objectives through a process of knowledge management (Anumba et al. 2005). In some respects, these twin factors can intertwine in terms of viable solutions to either issue. If a company is able to resolve issues of internal management sufficiently, that its own of viability is insured ââ¬â it is then able to address the issue of client satisfaction. The reverse also applies; achieving client satisfaction in a sustainable way allows the organization to devote more attention to internal bookkeeping. This investigation will explore the potential of administrative models to address challenges in the delivery of client objectives and services. Fulfilling this dimension of business operations is integral to the success of the enterprise, and ongoing research permits new possibilities to achieve efficiency for client services. Specifically , this investigation will focus on integrated systems for the delivery of client objectives. The balance between customer service and efficiency is hypothesized to be enhanced by a theory of integrated systems for complex project management to achieve the delivery of client objectives. Analysis of the Problem Initially, it is helpful to discuss the systems themselves in order to foster an understanding of

Foreign Direct Investment On Host Country Economies
Foreign Direct Investment On Host Country Economies Globalization has changed companies international activities over the year all over the world for well developed and developing countries (Stefanini2006). Globalization; countries worldwide dissemination of the material and spiritual values are considered as beyond national borders, among countries in the economic, political and cultural values, variable gain, resolution of ideological distinctions based on the polarization of different cultural values, beliefs and expectations and better recognition of the intensification of these relations, as well as homogeneity of the differences reached a development that would be correct. Another way, globalization of economic, political, social and cultural fields, some common values beyond the local and national boundaries are defined as the spread around the world. Globalization has been seen important improvement around the world countries and economies, creating greater unity in international business and finance and rapidly accelerating the integration of developing countries into the global economy. Wit and Meyer(2005) suggested that in analysis of globalization has crucial importance which are Globalization of companies, businesses and economies. However, these trends have not in any sense been universally positive for all the countries. There are many reasons that globalization has negative impacts to different countries well developed countries have seen benefit of globalization while poor and developing countries and economies have been faced negative effect of globalization. The globalization is not just expand to investment to other countries because it is effected the host countries economical social existing and future condition such as employment rate, GDP, increase technological skills and integration and cross border cooperation. Emerging and developing countries try to attract to invest foreign investment with such as new regulations, law, reduce to borders to have global competitive advantage to attract business firms because one of the most crucial issue of development is the investment for the countries. It is not always to possible to cover all needed investment by internal resources. The process of globalization, particularly foreign capital flows to developing countries is of great importance for the development and to attract and growth foreign investment is a great change to host countries especially in the developing countries. The multinational companies have reached significant transnational trade helping by improvement of services, technologies. Foreign direct investment (FDI) decision of the firms is one of the crucial issues in term of the host country such as the market and political situation and certainty, benefits and alternatives shapes the entre strategies. Foreign Direct Investment Definition of Foreign Direct Investment FDI can be descried that activities of a business of beyond the borders of the home country and the manufacturing plant to establish of existing production facilities by increasing its capital to a subsidiary of a FDI in the different country. In the worldwide perception, foreign direct investment (FDI) is delicate to economic situation of the countries. Allen and Edward (2008) mentioned that the inadequacy of data for surveillance remains an issue in many countries. FDI growth factors demand less of the monitoring and compliances to lure the investment leading to more exposure. It was reported by The World Bank (Investing Across Borders 2010) that in 1970 global FDI total $13.3 billion and in 2007 it was $1.9 trillion however in 2009 the economic rescission affected all type business trade and FDI in developed countries dropped 41% contrast in developing countries it was 35%. There is many benefits and disadvantages of FDI in the host countries. Business firms has facilitated many new jobs, develop the skills, new technologies on the other hand impact of FDI is not always positive for example competition with local business, environmental labour right issues, undermining local government(Navaretti and Venables 2004) Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) influences the economic performance and is given various advantages to firm thus reach cheap raw materials and natural resources in different geographies, cheap cost of manufacturing process, weak labour and health safety regulations, less taxing. FDI decision is one of the most important issues companies need to carefully reviews the conditions of the host country, in line with the market situation in which competing firms choose the way of investment. There is factors directly affecting foreign direct investment (FDI) desions such as political balance, low rates, indused policies. According to Sun(2009) linkages between domestic and foreign firms can also affect the export performance of domestic firms, which provides yet another explanation for increased competition for FDI among host country governments. There are two basic understanding of the effect of FDI, one of them is considered that this effect is positive and other second believe refused it however spillover effect is still important matter for these two sides. (Aitken and Harrison 1999) Navaretti and Venables (2006) mentioned the FDI effect host and home countries in variety of ways and it can be structured in three way firstly product market effects these are the quantity and quality of home and host country and also competitive conditions of multinational and local companies. Secondly factors market effects can be expand as capital and labour and thirdly spillover which is effects of technological improvement in host country. FDI Theories Vernon (1966) as cited by Bora (2002) examined Product life cycle model seeks to bridge international trade theory and individual firm`s perspective of investment in product development and mentioned that there different level in the product life cycle in different multinational companies. The theory basically concerned that foreign direct investment (FDI) is major way to transfer new innovations and technology and assume three level of product life cycles. Caves(1971) as cited by Jones and Wren(2006) studied Hymer`s theory and linked Hymer`s theory of international production to the then current theories of industrial organization on horizontal which is firm`s product in foreign market and vertical integration which is different stage of production. Dunning (1997) developed OLI(ownership, location initials of internationalization) theory also known as eclectic theory. According to the eclectic theory multinational companies invest and acts to advantages of ownership advantages, location advantages, and internationalization advantages. Domestic and foreign companies can achieve competitive advantage in markets that are closely related to benefits. Foreign direct investment (FDI) studies regarded to positive effect of employment in host countries and emerge of economy. Chen (2000) mentioned that foreign direct investment(FDI) helps to improve knowledge skills and assistance to progress new technologies and adaptation to new ideas marketing and business strategies and also make attractive to other investors in host country. Foreign Direct Investment in China China`s historical changes is an important example to progression communism and imperialism systems. Chinese communists have transformed their socialist ideology into a new national project that deà ¬Ã nes modernisation in globalist terms.(Harris 2005) Zhilong(2002) mentioned that China began to implement the opening-up policy and actively utilise foreign direct investment (FDI) after Deng Xiaoping had come into power, which means that China did not open its domestic market until the early eighties. During the three decades from 1949 to 1979, China absolutely forbade foreign investments and hardly took foreign loans. Since agreement to the WTO in 2001 FDI growth dramatically and China has become biggest FDI share comparing in developing countries according to WTO(2008) China has become the world`s third largest trader and manufacturer. WTO(2009), export of Chinese goods has determined that the first order and export of commercial services ranked Fifth in the world also China has become one of the largest importer in the world. One of the most well developed country Germany has ranked second in export of merchandise and export of commercial services was third. This report shows that Brazil and India other most emerging countries in FDI. Euromonitor (2010) indicates that China`s export were valued Chinas exports were esteemed at US$119.9 billion in April 2010, up by 30.5% year-on-year and increase 24% than last year. The reason of increase of export was mainly growing machinery and electronics sales to USA, the EU and Japan. In addition in April 2010, imports went up 49.7% year-on-year to US$118.2 billion however The annual expansion in imports slowed compared to March 2010, when imports increased by a robust rate of 66.2% year-on-year to US$119.4 billion. In April 2010, China, open 7.2 billion U.S. dollars recorded in the previous month, according to the first time since 2004, recorded a trade surplus of $ 1,700,000,000. However, compared with a year ago, Chinas trade surplus shrank 87.0% in April of 2010. Muyuan(2011) argued that after earthquake in Japan there will be negative impact of FDI in China because Japan is the second foreign direct investment(FDI) country in China after Hong Kong. Japan FDI was $4.1 billion in 2010 and this figure corresponds to 3.9% of FDI in China. However China`s economic growth is not just depend on FDI there is significant foreign exchange reserves and surplus even though it was believed that there will be long term impact of Japan FDI rise of economic growth in China. The massive expansion of the Chinese economy growth can be described as a miracle comparing the improvement global export and has become an economic power in the world. Chinese companies ranked top list of leading global business firm over the years. Since economic development people lifestyle, consumer behaviour has changed in China. There is huge movement to rural area to big cities even though largest population still remains in the rural areas. There is different studies have defined FDI in different ways for instance according to Chen(2000) foreign direct investment defined as investment in which a firm acquires a substantial controlling interest in a foreign firm or sets up a subsidiary in a foreign firm or sets up subsidiary in a foreign country and also is one of the strategy to getting multinational. There is different ways to invest other countries such as licensing, franchising, joint venture, exporting, greenfield investment, merger and acquisitions. Foreign Direct Investment in Brazil FDI has crucial role in progress and improvement of Brazil economy and being attracted by many multinational firms. Over these progresses Government policies has been changed to make suitable to invest by firms. Euromonitor(2010) confirmed that Brazil has second foreign direct investment(FDI) inflow in the world. According to the central bank foreign direct investment in Brazil (2009) totalled $25.9 billon. The impact of FDI on Brazilian economy has been helped a number of ways for instance improvement policies, economical situation, political stability and increasing the countries reputation over the years. The growth of FDI has changed and increased productivity level, competitiveness and become more ease up since 1990s in Brazil. The spillover effect influence existing market and productivity of other firms also and it is more likely that products becomes cheaper The foreign investors create outflow of personnel, management styles from the foreign firms to host companies. Moran(2004) mentioned that Citibank`s training program influend the financial sector and become a leading example to train their own employees in Brazil. FDI is not effect employment level also it may affect technological improvements which is called spillover effect which is transferred by firms and effect productivity, effiency and econimal growth.(Jones and Wren 2006) The growth of FDI has changed and increased productivity level, competitiveness and become more ease up since 1990s in Brazil. Conclusion This essay aims to give an overview of foreign direct investment with main theories and examples from variety of countries. Activities of multinational companies effect in both home and host countries in the global world and also these activities have some advantages impact in short and long term prospects and significant effects on both sides. Over the past decades emerging countries have changed and improved existing economical and political situations to attract by and become very attractive for FDI and gain competitive advantages especially such countries China, India and Brazil become major host countries for international companies. Foreign direct investment has been effected economy, investment trade ,structure, envoriment and labour in host countries.

The process of making a candyCandy is made by dissolving sugar in water or milk to form a syrup, which is boiled until it reaches the desired concentration or starts to caramelize. The type of candy depends on the ingredients and how long the mixture is boiled. Candy comes in a wide variety of textures, from soft and chewy to hard and brittle. Some examples are: caramel candy, toffee, fudge, praline, tablet, gumdrops, jelly beans, rock candy, lollipops, taffy, cotton candy, candy canes, peppermint sticks, peanut brittle, chocolate-coated raisins or peanuts, hard candy and candy bars. The final t exture of candy depends on the sugar concentration. Incident of the Life of a Slave Girl Essay
The autobiographical narrative ââ¬Å"Incident of the Life of a Slave Girlâ⬠unveils casualties of life faced by black women during 19th century. A special attention Harriet Jacobs gives to a sexual relationship with Mr. Sand and moral values of black women. Thesis An ââ¬Å"illicitâ⬠sexual relationship with Mr. Sand described in the Narrative does not reinscribing the stereotype of the black woman as lascivious and hypersexual, but proves that the black women are loving and sympathetic creatures seeking for a relationship based on romantic love. Love and romantic relations between a man and woman has played a crucial love in their lives. For Linda Brent, an ââ¬Å"illicitâ⬠relationship with Mr. Sand means pure relations free from social statuses and financial gain. Harriet Jacobs stresses that love and passion are typical for the black woman even if she is engaging in the ââ¬Å"illicitâ⬠sexual relationship. As the most important, Harriet Jacobs underlines that the black women could not move beyond the constrictions of the ideology. The existence of the institution of marriage, in which men played the dominant role and wielded control, placed women at the mercy of their male counterparts. At the beginning of new millennium, there are more and more people who prefer not to get marriage, but living together for many years trying to keep or preserve their personal freedom and independence. The example of Linda Bret shows that in spite of all the negative life lessons Linda understands what it is to be an individual and loving woman. The autobiography portrays that the black women are not promiscuous or lascivious, but loving and sympathetic creatures. In this case, it is important to take into account the epoch and economic system of slavery which deprived black women their rights and freedom. Linda Brent is a person who uses love as her emotional guide. But love symbolizes psychological state of Linda who becomes more passionate and sympathetic. The problems, unveiled in the autobiography, are received much publicity, because for some people these problems are too intimate or dedicated, they touch personal feelings and human soul. Linda Brent is suppressed by the norms and circumstances, her own narrow worldview and personal low spirits which make her dependant upon life situations. One of the secrets of Linda Brent is her natural beauty, which lies in the way she perceives the world. Through the character of Linda Bret, Jacobs depicts that that to the black woman who had survived the illusions that freedom and marriage would provide lifelong companionship and identity, and who had come to recognize the existential solitude of all human beings, feminism became a kind of credo. For the black women love means dream which comes true. In this sense, she is a victim because she needs to escape from realities of life which she cannot change. She is a victim of social structure and class conflict which destroy human relations and hopes. The autobiography suggests something of the historical loss for women of transferring the sense of self to relationships with men. Her sexuality is still her life, just as it made her on the pillory superior to her disclosed lover. Jacobs associates shame over her ancestors with the guilty excitement she felt in taking up the story. Her love throughout is maternal compassion for what is vulnerable to the passage of time. But her mind does not recoil from such pain; Linda Bret never avoids disquieting realities. But it is precisely an indiscriminated change, this stream of undifferentiated ranà dom perceptions, which is called ââ¬Å"lifeâ⬠. à The ââ¬Å"illicitâ⬠sexual relations create a feeling of guilt being one of the reasons that her sexual freedom does not take her very far. It is possible to say that despite their efforts to escape the rituals of femininity, the black women seems fated to reenact them, even though, as Jacobs recounts these scenes and revises their conventions. The values and nature of black women described by Jacobs are not lascivious or hypersexual. Modern values and realities of life support behavior and choice of Linda who wants to love and be loved.
